This club was created with the intent of teaching students the value of economics, including the stock market, real estate, and entrepreneurship. Here, we give students an opportunity to learn about the foundation and inner workings of the financial world and how they can create a diverse portfolio. After participating in this club, students will be on a trajectory for success.
WHAT WE DO
TEACHING STUDENTS FINANCING AT THE HIGHEST DEGREE
LOW INCOME OUTREACH PROGRAM
Lower income schools are not offered the best financial education that is available to them. Because of this, our long term goal is to create a system of clubs across multiple school systems that offer financial education to lower income students, as well as giving them access to the resources they need to succeed in the world of business. This will include zoom meetings with speakers, a website, and communication between school investment clubs.
COMPETITIONS
Our Investment Club will offer monthly competitions where students can apply the knowledge learned during our meetings with highly successful businessman.
SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
The Carroll investment club also holds a scholarship, which provides financial aid to kids going into business. Some of the criteria include, but are not limited to: a gpa of 98 or above, recommendation from a teacher, and an essay. This scholarship will be run through First Financial Bank.
